  6. Contribution to the development of Industry 5.0 and the digitisation of production processes

Partners

An original and propositional approach

Our mission is to be an international benchmark in the field of industrial electric drives at the service of advanced mechatronics and industrial production. We are your engineering partner focused on shared innovation and smart manufacturing 5.0. Our vision centres around using the latest static energy conversion technologies for electric motors, control systems and the optimised integration of electric drives. Our outlook is based on efficiency, flexibility and increasing the competitiveness of our consortium members to make production increasingly digital and sustainable with a view to internalising part of the production line and helping companies to produce complete and modular systems with high added value.

The Technical and Scientific Committee

The main aims of the committee’s activities are as follows:

  • encouraging technology transfer and facilitating interaction between the world of academia and IRIS LAB, including for specific research and development activities;
  • offering IRIS LAB innovation opportunities, cutting-edge analysis and specific forms of knowledge in the field of industrial IoT and electric drives; supporting university spin-offs and innovative start-ups;
  • promoting internships and apprenticeships for students, recent graduates, PhD students and university researchers;
  • incentivising and sponsoring activities which promote interaction between the world of academia and IRIS LAB.

The committee’s main task is to study and propose research, innovation, internationalisation and business development projects of specific interest to consortium members.
